Maiko is a touch-sensitive gain pedal that lives in that “amp-like” sweet spot: open, responsive, and happy to follow your hands. Set it low for warm crunch and edge-of-breakup grit, push it for thick, harmonically rich drive, or wind it up into full-bodied distortion that still stays articulate.

It also cleans up beautifully from your guitar’s volume knob—roll back for clearer, chimey drive; roll up and dig in for bigger, meaner tones. Whether you’re running a squeaky-clean amp or something already on the edge, Maiko slots in and feels natural.
